Product Overview
Catch cans are used to reduce the amount of oil particles and vapours recirculated to the intake valves. This can help to keep the intake valves of your engine clean and free from soot deposits, as well as preventing pre-ignition (knock or pinging) in high performance applications. The catch can will filter oil vapours from the recirculated gas, storing them in the reservoir.
Our kit for the MK7 VW Golf GTi/R includes:
- High quality sealed stainless steel billet catch can with drain port. Black anodised with laser-etched CS branding. 300ml capacity, 65mm diameter, 100mm height.
- 2x Barbed hose connectors measuring 13mm with 3/8-18NPT threads.
- Standard 90 degree mount.
- Cotswold Speedshop 3mm laser-cut aluminium mount.
- 40mm X M6 bolt
- 30mm x M6 spacer
- 2 x M4x20 bolts
The Cotswold Speedshop mount was specifically designed to perfectly fit VW Golf MK7 GTi/R engine bay (as pictured), but may be useful in plenty more applications. This mount is designed and made in the UK.
Hoses not provided, but we are happy to offer advice for what sizes are required.
