Product Overview
Many T2's which have had the clock removed now feature only a hole in the dashboard, and the factory blanking plates are incredibly hard to find. This is why we created our own aftermarket backplate which can either be used for blocking the hole for an improved quality of finish, or as a mounting surface for our T2 clock kits.
Our T2 backplates are a strong and stiff lasercut 1.2mm steel, which is deiburred and powder coated in gloss black. Also supplied with the necessary screws and spacers to adjust the position of the backplate if required.
Will fit all VW buses with the standard rectangular binnacle, as shown in the photograph. Will fit either left or right hand drive models.
Backplate kit includes:
- 1 x Steel Backplate (Black powder-coated)
- 2 x crosshead installation screws
- 2 x Nylon Spacers
Installation:
No cutting is required, the only tools needed is a cross-head screwdriver. This is a completely reversible modification and will not damage your dashboard.
